    She is almost 90 and doesn’t want to be a bother ! I believe the hospital has contacted them but they still don’t want to know. .

    A claim for PIP under Special rules can be made by an adviser, relative or even friend on behalf of a terminally ill person without the involvement of the terminally ill person themselves provided a DS1500 is available and the person making the claim knows details of NI number, GP, consultants and claimant's bank account details.
