What happened to the crack in the engine block?

I went back to him and he said the compression was fine
    What were his readings?
  • Now saying he's spoke with a VW mechanic and he said the coolant temperature sensor is faulty and that's why my car is misfiring/juddering.

The crack was never there apparently. He assumed there was a crack because he replaced the timing chain and it still didn't work. He sent me pictures of his readings but I don't think i can attach them. He said he tests in bars and the pics he sent are all around the 12 bar mark.

People are caught up in an egotistic artificial rat race to display a false image to society. We want the biggest house, fanciest car, and we don't mind paying the sky high mortgage to put up that show. We sacrifice our biggest assets our health and time, We feel happy when we see people look up to us and see how successful we are”

So hes just fitted the coolant temperature sensor and it seems the same. He said hes not sure what to do now and hes 100% confident that its not the valves and compression is fine...

I took it back to the garage where I had the work done and he kept it for 4 days (as I was away on holiday) and did nothing to it - he said it was fine and normal.

Its not about whether your compression is 140 or 170; as above, if you know there is something wrong, then he is telling blatant lies.

On Monday my car broke down - it started juddering and then eventually cut out. After that it wouldn’t start.

The same mechanic serviced the car literally 2 days before and I drove it home on the Saturday after the service and it was fine then. But I didn’t drive it again until Monday and that’s when it went wrong.
If the timing chain was worn or the valves weren't seating properly wouldn't this develop over time rather than happen suddenly?
