Cross border working and PIP TAx Credits

I've looked this up quite a bit online and have the basics, but would like some info of an actual real life experience
I've been offered a lucrative post across the border with the south of Ireland, currently work in NI civil service and the salary across the border will more than make up the extra commute, and will allow me work reduced hours. I will remain living with my partner and children in the North.
I have read that as my residence in the North and resident country of our children, we will still be eligible for family allowance, and also I am on PIP for a heart problem i have had since childhood, will this be allowed to continue? And Tax Credits?
I am looking constructive information please, no negativity or Brexit discussions -I have lived within a 5 mile radius of the north south border my entire life and I already know the Brexit implications

In terms of PIP as I understand it - you have to be "present" in Northern Ireland every day.
Can I suggest you ask your local CAB. I think they'll have resources which should answer your questions for definite0 -

Child Benefit is claimed in the country of the child's residence if one parent works on each side of the border0 -
I would imagine the situation you are going to be in is pretty common in Ireland. Have you searched for any groups specifically covering living one side of the border and working on the other?0

Thank you -NI is my residence which will not change so I sincerely hope I am present there everyday. In context, the commute is 20 miles.0

Yes I've looked in groups but was appreciating some first hand experience -and yes it is very common when you realise NHS salary vs HSE salary0
