Priming a front door

Options
Hi all,

I plan to paint my composite front door and I have picked up a Zinsser 123 primer to try and achieve a good finish.
I'm looking at Dulux Weathershield for the colour application and I note it says a primer isn't needed.
I was going to still apply the primer (as mentioned to try and ensure a nice finish) and I was wondering if I could get away with priming the door today and painting tomorrow, or would that be too long between priming and painting?
The Dulux paints are far cheaper on Amazon that at my local B&Q!
