Great British Ships- Competition Additional Terms and Conditions

Competition closes at midday on 30.04.2019 and 3 working days later for postal entries.
1) The prize comprises:

• Standard class return rail travel for two from UK mainland station nearest to the prize winner’s home address to London and return private transfers for two between the arrival London train station and the hotel. If the winner’s home address is in Northern Ireland the prize will include return economy class flights for two and transfers to the hotel;
• Two (2) nights’ accommodation for two at Flemings Mayfair based on the prize winner and their companion sharing a Deluxe Double Room on a bed and breakfast basis (subject to availability);
• Three-course dinner for two on one evening at Ormer Mayfair;
• Private guided curator tour for two of Cutty Sark including afternoon tea with a glass of Prosecco per person beneath the ship’s copper-plated hull;
• 2 x Tickets to HMS Belfast; and
• Light lunch for two at River Cottage Deli at HMS Belfast (up to the value of £30);

2) The prize winner must book their trip within 28 days of their congratulations e-mail from Element being sent and at least six weeks in advance of their preferred departure date or the prize may be forfeited.
3) The prize must be taken and completed within 12 months of the congratulations e-mail from Element being sent. The trip cannot be taken over any UK Bank Holidays: Christmas & New Year (19 December 2018 to 3 January 2019 and 19 December 2019 to 3 January 2020) (27 May 2019, 26 August 2019), or Easter weekend (19 April to 22 April 2019). The prize and its components are subject to availability.
4) The curator tour at Cutty Sark is subject to staff availability and must be booked at least a month in advance. The Prosecco afternoon tea at Cutty Sark must be booked at least 3 days in advance.
5) The curator tour at Cutty Sark and the Prosecco afternoon tea at Cutty Sark must be redeemed on the same day.
6) Should the prize winner prefer to drive themselves a mileage allowance up to the value of £200 will be offered and the rail allowance and taxi transfers will be forfeited. The allowance will be calculated at 45p per mile from the prize winner’s home address to the hotel.
7) Where the prize winner is under 18 years old, he/she must be accompanied by an adult aged 18 or over to check into the property. Please note that either the prize winner or their companion will need a current and valid credit card in order to check into the property for security deposit purposes.
8) It is the responsibility of the prize winner to inform the prize provider of any wheelchair or similar access requirements for the prize winner and his/her companion when taking the prize, and to adhere to any applicable health and safety guidelines
9) The prize excludes transfers between the winner’s home and the train station/airport, additional meals, drinks, excursions, attractions, spa treatments, gratuities, personal expenses, travel insurance and all other costs and arrangements not expressly included in the prize.
10) The prize and all its elements are subject to availability. Neither Channel 5 nor Element will accept responsibility for the hotel or any facilities being unavailable, withdrawn or amended.
11) There is no cash alternative or refund for unused portions of the prize.
12) Any amendments made by the prize winner after the booking is confirmed may be subject to administration charges levied by the specific supplier. Any such charges will be the responsibility of the prize winner.
