How can I re-set Acer Aspire password

I have no removable disk and I have tried all the advice online such as power on and press alt and f10
There is no option to switch user
I haven't used it for a long time and the password reminder must be wrong as I have tried what I think it should be and variations of.,,,,
Can anyone help?

Are you talking about the BIOS password when you power on or the windows password0

You need to buy or borrow an external USB DVD unit. Then you can use the Windows install DVD to get access (Google it) or look at other threads on here). If you don't hve the DVD look on the bottom to see what kind of Windows you are running (ie what version) and download and burn the DVD from the Microsoft web site.0

If the device is windows 10 , it may be linked to your outlook/microsoft account and carry the same password. If so you can reset your password online and try with this. If not the above advice is what you need to follow .
