Paying student loan whilst at Uni

I've just wrapped up an internship year between my second and third year of uni where I was earning under the minimum amount for repaying your student loan.
As a goodwill gesture at the end of my internship I was given a bonus as part of my payslip which, if I earned that much every month, would be over the minimum amount for student loan payments. Also in my payslip was a `Student Loan Repayment`.
Surely I shouldn't be paying my student loan yet right as I'm still at uni? Is there anything I can do now that money has gone to them?
