Read the Small Print - £200 exit fees!

It would be interesting to know if any Engie customer has used Bulb’s ‘get out of exit fees’ card?

  • The maximum Bulb will pay in exit fees from your previous supplier is £120 per switch - £60 per fuel.

To be fair, £200 is not for your everyday tariff exit fee.
A spokesman said the tariff included a smart thermostat installed free of charge and the exit fee was to stop customers leaving immediately.

It's not unlike Solarplicity who offered customers FREE LED light bulbs, but expected you to pay a contribution towards them if you took up the offer, and then switched away before the tariff ended.
