Hi there -
yes, parking is in short supply and the chances of driving around for hours and/or getting a parking ticket are really high so the cost of the garage makes sense. Once I give up that space, I know I'll never get it back so I've been holding onto it. It's also been convenient when family/friends visit.

I'd pay all of the petrol & parking for the trips you take together and for her trips to visit.0

I'd just pay towards petrol when you are with her and maybe something towards repairs.0

Their car their costs.
If you don't get any sole use try to avoid the share of the variable like maintenance/repair build that into a use cost.
A simple approach is to agree when the trips are shared ones and use cost per mile to cover the use.
This would be more than fuel cost to cover a share of the costs per mile.
For your garage space where you need to retain some use, a common agreement is to let it for specific hours only,
Like to a worker in the area say 8am-6pm Mon-Fri only0
