new gmail layout

Can anyone tell me how to go back to the old version of gmail?
I have been into the gog wheel (setting) but there isn't an option to go back

UPDATE,
As of today 180919. my granddaughter is now my official granddaughter, adoption finally granted

    It should be the first option under the Cog.

    Unless google has a time limit on switching between layouts.

    They give me 2 weeks to switch between old and new layouts...

    Think you only get 2 weeks before the switch is permanent...

    If you use
    https://mail.google.com/mail/h/
    you will get the Basic HTML version, which hasn't changed much.
    You can also install Stylish or Stylus browser add-ons and change the style of GMail in your browser eg Old School Terminal Theme
    A kind word lasts a minute, a skelped erse is sair for a day.

    I changed mine about a week or so ago ... the option is still there for me to change back under the cog icon.

    An aside. I find it amazing how many companies feel the need to "improve" a perfectly good interface. More often than not I prefer things as they were. Maybe I'm just a dinosaur or Luddite.

    Oh you will (have to) get used to it or just use mail client for gmail account

    MY change back option has vanished today. But I can live with it so will stay
