I'm 31. Currently have approximately £250K in savings & investments. Also have a DB pension, which I guess the cash value currently would be about £30K. Also a homeowner.
I've saved and been careful my adult life, and it's amazing how quickly the amount grows...the power of compounding as they say. I've never earned huge amounts of money, but I've been careful & lucky with a small inheritance.
My advice-get saving, it's a wonderful feeling to be secure, worth more than any Costa Latte!0
