  • I'm also awaiting my training material which will give me more of an idea of what I will be letting myself in for. Yes, the contract does seem quite intense but I am keeping an open mind. I intend to ask a few more questions re the contract before I take the test if i am still unsure of what exactly is involved after I do the training session.

I did some work for them last year (testing mobile phones) through a friend of a friend. It was HASSLE!! I was suddenly taken ill and spent a few days in hospital. I then got constant phone calls asking me how I was getting on. Then I suddenly got a call saying that they didn't want my services anymore. It then took me nearly 2 months sending numerous emails and phone calls to get the money they owed me. I couldn't recommend them!
  • So let me get this straight, this company sends you a test in which you have to rate 200 web pages. Has anyone thought that this may be a pay per click operation except they get paid but you don't. Think of all the possible thousands of people taking their "test" and not being accepted and the millions of times the same web pages are clicked on by the "test" assessors.

The manual they sent me seemed genuine. And the criteria for assessing sites are very detailed and all made sense albeit a bit intense.

I have been in IT for 9 years and it appeared genuine to me. Whether you get paid on time - I don't know. But I did read either in the paperwork or on their site that they expect you to do about 60 assessments an hour which I didnt think was long to check all the things they want you to check. But hey other people might find it a breeze.

If you can do the tests ones easily within the recommended time then maybe it is worth considering.

  • I'd be interested to know....does anyone here actually work for them, I have read a thread and it all seems very negative, anyone have any real experience? Or does everyone just think it's too dodgy???

    Cheers,

I have worked doing this last year. It is genuine and they do pay you....you are self-employed.
