Vauxhall Astra 09- MOT Failure Repair cost

I received test results back from an MOT, which was failed. The garage is currently putting together a quote for repairs before begin MOT'd again.

I the meantime, I wanted to get a quick estimate on the cost of repairs. Could anybody cost each item so to give me a ball park figure?

Thanks in advance!

Rear lamps out, could be wiring, could have lost the earth, could be both bulbs gone- no idea..£5-50??????

Put the bulb in the headlight properly- do it yourself for nothing, but Halfords only charge £5 to fit one.
Drop links £15 the pair, 1/2 hour to do both- £50

Clean & adjust handbrake probably another £50 if no new parts required

so £150 should more than cover it I reckon.
I want to go back to The Olden Days, when every single thing that I can think of was better.....

(except air quality and Medical Science ;))

The handbrake showing excessive play is often a sign of lack of maintenance and is likely to be the most costly.

    £185 all in.
