changing dog food

I have a 4 year old lab that I am feeding Canagan - in march rehomed another lab the same age that arrived on Arden Grange.

I would like to have both dogs on the same food (for convenience) but can't cover the cost of x2 canagan (£120 a month roughly).

Pet shop has recommended with Burns or James Well Beloved

Does anyone have any advice?

My dogs do well on Burgess Lamb sensitive, Skinners duck & rice (both gluten free) and Autarky salmon.
There is a website where you can compare the prices ane quality- bet someone will be along to post that info, sorry I don't know it.

If you are changing food, do it gradually, over few weeks, dont just do it overnight.

Some dogs can get upset stomachs from change of food.

You can check out the costs and ingredients of foods on the web site All About Dog Food.

However, neither of the suggested foods are comparable to Canagan for quality.

Remember you feed less of a quality food so the saving may not be as much as you think.
