    Hi,
I stumbled across this thread and it looks brill. Can I join please? My hours at work have changed so I have set meal times now, none of these different shift each day malarkey! Hubby and I aren't really sandwich eaters. He can only have meals that can be eaten cold due to the fact he is outreach. Any ideas would be welcome. Pasta becomes a bore after a while!

I have this a bit with my OH - we work together but he is sometimes out on site all day, and while my staples are leftovers from the night before (I've got stir fry today), salad and humous in a toasted pitta or soup and bread/toast, these tend to rely on the microwave/ toaster

I'v got a little soup flask so I'll use that for him this winter, with a roll maybe. He does like falafels so they might fill in for where he would have bought a pasty before, but it is hard to go cheap and healthy and I'd be grateful for any ideas too - he doesn't eat fruit which limits it
  • Day one today - lovely left over veggie stir fry :):)

Played unidentified freezer roulette and lost - defrosted curry sauce thinking it was soup! Ate as much as I could and didn't buy lunch (augmented by a free brew fund biscuit!).

Hello! Love this idea, I am doing more shifts now, but this seems like a great idea, even if I am off work I need to make sure that I am not wasting money!

I would like to sign up for 15 days, I bought a lunch deal yesterday, bah!!

Today I am going to make soup I think! Seems like good weather for it!!
