I have just received a letter from Erudio offering to settle my account for HALF of the outstanding amount. Wow that sounds to good to be true :beer:
Oh wait a minute I turn 50 in a few months and the debt gets written off then!
Is this coincidence and they've sent these letters to many people or is this an attempt to, for want of a better word, deceptively attempt to get some money back? I mean I much would have preffered a letter to say " Dear Sir, we see that your 50th birthday is soon approaching and we would like to inform you at this point your loan will be written off in full" :rotfl:No, never had one of those letters.
Be warned, make sure you are fully aware of your position when it comes to these loans. All of the information you need is here on MSE :T
