RBS Reward Silver Account Refund

After recently seeing my bank statement I noticed that I have been unknowingly paying £10 a month for my RBS account.

I didn't know why I would be paying for my account and presumed it was charges for going overdrawn or something but I find that it is because I am using a "RBS Reward Silver Account"

For £10 a month you get
-phone insurance
-travel insurance
-tastecard (discount restaurant card)
-2% in rewards on household bills

I have had this account for around 4 years so I suspect it was setup as a a "reward silver" account but my issue is that I have never used any of these benefits, not even the household rewards.
Considering I've been paying for this for a few years and have never used any of the benefits I feel that I should see some of that money back.

I'm sure I did sign up for it, not because I remember doing so, but, because the bank wouldn't just set it up without my signature.

Does anybody know what are the chances of getting my money back for this package?

Is it the Bank's fault that you have not used any of the benefits of the account?

You can ask for a refund, but expect nothing and you won't be disappointed.

If it's anything like the Santander one, they pay the household bill reward directly into your account each month so there could be evidence you had received this benefit

4 years ago is a long time after the ombudsman got active on miss-selling, there is zero chance you didn't know you had taken it out, there will be a complete paper trail showing you agreed to take it out or upgrade.

Moreover packaged accounts now send out annual statements of benefit explaining the fees and what you get so it's impossible to not know you had this unless you ignore bank literature. You won't be time barred due to the 6 year rule but the bank will have a very strong case that they can prove you knew you had it so as Moneyineptitude says above don't expect a refund and see if you get lucky

People are rich because they spend less money. A poor man buys $10 boots that last a season or two before he's walking in wet shoes and has to buy another pair. A rich man buys $50 boots that are made better and give him 10 years of dry feet. The poor man has spent $100 over those 10 years and still has wet feet.
