Selling BMW

If the engine is completely ruined beyond viable repair, it won't be worth anything as a car.
You would do better to look at stripping it for parts and selling them individually. But then you run the risk of being left with a shell that no scrap man wants to take, because they know they won't make enough from it themselves to make it worthwhile.0 -
eBay, list all details problems etc, be honest.
1p start price, it will go.
be more specific than 'engine gone' though, could be a 10p fix or a £5000 fix0 -
Hi all,
I’m hoping I have some car experts or someone who’s partner is a car expert.
I have a 57 plate BMW 3 Series I need rid off. The engine is gone. How much do you think I would be able to sell it for?!
Thanks
Timeing chain or swirl flaps that killed the engine im guessing
i have had few 3 series from e36, e46, e92 great cars. if it was me i would just stick it on ebay as an auction, list it as spares or repairs and let it go to the high bidder
you may get lucky and get a good price for it as someone may have an engine knocking about that they could put in it“People are caught up in an egotistic artificial rat race to display a false image to society. Yeah, timing chain!
ahh I knew it sorry mate, ive had one go on a 320d i had pain in the whats it, had to put a used engine in it took a while to get it on the road again but was worth it, old engine had dome 185000 miles, new/used engine had 98,000 miles all in it cost me about £1,800 all in
car was worth at the time about 6k ish but with a knackerd engine i would have got about £2,500 so decided to fix and let me brother have it he drove it 3 years not spending a lot on it“People are caught up in an egotistic artificial rat race to display a false image to society. Which model 3 series is it? Seeing that the engine is blown I'd suspect a diesel. Probability is more likely a 320d given the sheer number of them on the road
If it's a 330i or a 335i (unlikely) it would still be worth a pretty penny even with a blown engine.0
