It might be helpful if you post a pic so we can get a better idea of how it looks.

Would this matter be noticable in the dark?
  • Things that aren't real can't block anything so your neighbour can drive straight through the imaginary RX8 without a problem.

Just in case it helps any real car-owners... Is there a white line painted across the width of the dropped kerb? (Not assuming every area has this - we do round here). If so, would the question for enforcement by local authority perhaps be: is your vehicle overhanging the end of the white line? (Or indeed - is it end of the vehicle over the white line or is it tyre over the white line?)

I have no idea of the answers - but I bet any of you a tin of custard that there will not be a definitive answer to those 2nd and 3rd questions....

    It depends!

It comes down to whether there are any bylaws in place regarding the white H mark (access protection marker). In some areas they are purely advisory but in others they will allow a civil enforcement officer (Traffic Warden) to ticket a vehicle that intrudes into the white line.

The “dropped” kerb is the flat part. You can safely obstruct the sloping part.

No, or at least that is not the police's interpretation round here. They take the view it is from the point where it starts to drop.

It should be from the start of the drop. They only give you a few dropped kerbs, and unless you are going straight onto a drive opposite you need some room to turn into the space left down the middle by the cars parked on both sides.
I want to go back to The Olden Days, when every single thing that I can think of was better.....

Can't you imagine it back an inch?

In fact post a pic of said obstruction with a can of custard on the roof.

I don't think the game allows screenshots to be taken in that situation.

Probably take a shot of him racing a ferarri at 200mph though.

  • From this thread I detect a hint of scepticism towards the ownership of said car, just a hint or two. Surely if you were going to make it up you'd say it was an R8 Audi or a Lambo or something.

He's already admitted to lying about the ownership of lesser cars today.
