I have recently bought a Panasonic Soundbar (SC-HTB8) which I have connected successfully to our (old, no Bluetooth) Panasonic TV, all good. However, the reason I bought the soundbar with Bluetooth is that I had already bought some Bluetooth headphones (WAVER, Model GEBH055AB) and wanted to be able to connect the two.
The soundbar works fine, the headphones work fine - we have connected them to another device with no problem.
But all I can do is select scanning/searching on both devices, lights flash on both devices but they can't seem to find each other, and it's not as if I have any sort of screen to select anything.
Does anyone have any suggestions please?

Non techie person here, is it that they are both capable of receiving Bluetooth but not sending?Tall, dark & handsome. Well two out of three ain't bad.0

The soundbar cannot transmit Bluetooth and therefore the headphones cannot pick it up t
the sound bar is a receiver for example you could send Bluetooth to it from for example your mobile phone playing an MP3 or something0 -

Thank you, I think I understand what you're saying...... so the whole idea of me trying to get this set up for my husband (getting hard of hearing and driving me mad with volume) is not going to work.... unless maybe we had a TV with bluetooth? The important things in life are not things ........0 -

Yes a bluetooth transmitter is fairly cheap you can either plug it into the aux out of the soundbar as above or into the earphone socket of the TV itself it will transmit and then of course your headphones will be able to pick it up I would suggest Amazon as your first port of call!0

I use this one and works really well. Ignore the fact it is a transmitter & receiver - just use the 'transmit' socket and connect the other end to your tv headphone socket
