Switching - oops - I changed my mind - twice!
I'm not sure if anyone can help me on this one. I set a dual fuel switch to Avro in motion on Saturday (22 Sept), in response to MSE's Big Switch 11. A couple of checks later, I realised I'd gone for a tariff which didn't have the biggest saving on my current supplier Bulb (whose prices are also about to go up), and it had £60 exit fees, and I (think) wasn't 100% Green. So I proceeded to start cancelling the switch. Then yesterday I realized that I shouldn't have cancelled the switch after all - the reason my original MSE search came up with Avro was that their tariff is FIXED for 18 MONTHS whereas the other is still variable, like Bulb's.
OK, so I've been pretty stupid, but now I want to go back to my original switch (ie cancel the cancellation!) But when I go to my MSE Cheap Energy Club account, it's still saying "Switch in progress", so I can't get any further with restarting the switch. Does anyone (including MSE if someone's available) know how I can get restarted as I'm now really concerned I'm going to miss out on the deal MSE are offering?!

Try the above. Technically, you cannot cancel a cancellation as the original offer may have been withdrawn/change. There is also a possibility that an element of confusion might creep into the process. Nothing happens quickly in the energy sector and transfers involve a lot of parties. This is a system account and does not represent a real person.
