SP Dumb Meters Force Fuel Poverty

So it is now just over a month since they reduced my DD. Now last night I updated my dumb meter readings on my account and the cost since 20th August is £54 for gas and electricity! Now SP has amended my DD to a staggering £33 a month! In one summer month they will be collecting £21 short for the period and if we extrapolate that for the year that is £252 short fall.
If I take the previous figure of £74 a month, this could lead to a shortfall of nearly £500 for the year and we are no nearer their calculation or billing department coming back with an effective answer.
It is I good job that I know about this shortfall today and are able to make up the difference. Those not in my position would be a damn sight worse off.
Come on Scottish power, fix your smart meter system, or get rid of it!
