How do i get this radiator off??

    Double-entry side valve. Undo the big nut, lift radiator clear of brackets and pull radiator to left as shown in picture. There will be a short length of pipe that protrudes from the valve into the radiator.


    Make sure that when undoing the big nut that you grip the body of the valve securely with something like water-pump pliers as you don't want to fracture the microbore pipes.
  • Remember to turn off the water supply and drain the radiator first.

    Protect the floor from spills and drips with newspaper or an old towel etc.

    Close the big valve on the right then unscrew the smooth cap on the left, there will be a screw under the cap, screw that in and then undo the big nut that connects the valve to the radiator.
    If at first you don't succeed, sky diving is not for you!
