ESA MR advice

So hi folks i'm looking for some advice about my ESA.
Long story short i have a lifetime illness and my doctor convinced me last year to apply for ESA which i did. The 1 year assessment came along and it was something to put it mildly. I was kept all day till very late someone showed up who barely spoke english, was constantly interrupting me going "yeah yeah, thats enough i get it" and it felt real worrying.
Cut to about a month later and sure enough i get a P45 and a letter saying i was found fit for work. Accompanying this was a honestly quite infuriating list of fabrications from this assessor that wrote very long answers that were 100% different to what i said. For example i explained how i never went out to eat when asked, she wrote down "says has no problem going alone to restaurants often". It sent me into quite a panic as you might imagine but after reading up on here i got a MR form, a copy of my passed assessment, medicine prescription and a letter from my doctor who got very mad herself when i told her the situation.
So i sent it off and not long after got a reply saying the mandatory reconsideration had passed, i was found unfit and put i the support group and told my ESA would be backdated and another letter was on the way.
That was six weeks ago. No ESA, no letter. I have tried ringing but not been able to get through once with only busy lines and long ques. I felt a huge relief when the mandatory reconsideration apparently passed but now feel a bit lost all over again.
Is it normal for the second letter to take this long? Should i have to wait for this for my ESA to restart? or did i need to contact someone/apply again?
I'm feeling a bit lost and confused right now and any advice would be very welcome.

If the MR went in your favour and you've received a letter then there's no reasons why your ESA shouldn't have re-started and any abck dated money paid to you. Unfortunately, the only way you'll find out what exactly is going on is to ring them and stay on the phone until someone answers and this can be a s long 1 hour sometimes. It's a free number now but waiting is the only way. They open at 8 maybe ringing at this time will be better. Good luck.0
