Assessment length of times vary depending on the questions they ask and your answers. There's not really a set time.
Ring next week for the report. Decision times vary and can be anything between 2-8 weeks.0 -
Mine was around 10 weeks irc.
I got a letter about 4 weeks in, that stated they had received the report.
Then another letter about 4 weeks after, saying they had all the information required.
Called them after a couple of weeks later as heard nothing, and informed of my award. Back payment paid, but still waiting on letter. Been two weeks since they said it was sent.0 -
Is PIP backdated from the date your review pack was sent if your award is increased? No one seems to no the answer0

I think the answer is in here https://assets.publishing.service.gov.uk/government/uploads/system/uploads/attachment_data/file/720476/adma4.pdfMattywillz wrote: »Is PIP backdated from the date your review pack was sent if your award is increased? No one seems to no the answer
(para A 4200 onwards) but I can't get my head around what it actually means. I think it means that backdating takes place but I'm not sure. Perhaps someone else can confirm.Information I post is for England unless otherwise stated. Some rules may be different in other parts of UK.0 -

The awarding officer will state what date your award will be increased from. You'll be paid from that date not when you got the review firm.0 -
Any idea how I can work it out roughly when my claim will be backdated from0

No just wait for the award letter. Depends on when the assessor thinks your condition warranted a higher award. May not even be increased!0 -
If your review decision means your award has been increased it will not be backdated to the date you returned your form, the new awarded is dated from the date of the decision.Mattywillz wrote: »Is PIP backdated from the date your review pack was sent if your award is increased? If you report a change of circumstances and you rang PIP to do this then your award is backdated to the date you rang to report those changes.0 -
I spoke to pip they informed me it’s from the date I returned the PIP review form0

I had my assessment on a Wednesday and although their system was down, the following Monday i have received a text message from DWP saying they have received the report. I asked for a copy to be sent to me and it arrived on Wednesday.0
