CPPLUS POPLA Appeal

Hi all,

I used the template on the newbies thread and they've emailed me to decline my appeal. I am not able to understand the popla appeal part of the thread and have searched for similar threads but haven't been able to find something current or relevant, am I missing it or is it ok to start a new thread?

In the template used from here it says All responses to me from this point on, must be made by post and they didn't, they emailed me, and addressed it to sir/madam which really shows the effort they really put into looking at appeals.

Any advice would be great, I'm not functioning at my best lately

Sadly noone cares that they used email, not anyne important anyway.

You must not, on a public forum especially, tell ANYONE who drove.

Have you tried complaining to the services? They are there precisely to allow drvers to rest, and for a GENUINE SAFETY REASON (use those words!) a stay should be allowed. You have NOTHING to lose - mention pregnancy etc.

Once you have done that, have another look at the newbies thread. I am pretty sure you CAN understand it, just maybe not all at one go! Try breaking it down into manageable chunks, researching any terms used etc that are unfamiliar? If you can be more specific about what precisely evades you right now, then we can also try to help :)

Why do so many posters think this is even significant? It isn't, it's unimportant. They replied, and you have a POPLA code.

So copy & adapt another recent CP Plus no keeper liability POPLA appeal, by searching the forum for those words as your keywords.

if it was £25 I'd imagine they'd have more success in this scam!

After all that I completely forgot about it due to giving birth and a load of drama and now I've received a letter saying they're putting another £40 on top.. I'm going to call POPLA on Monday to see if there is anything I can do about this. Does anybody know if there is anything I can do? Thanks

have you appealed to popla ?

you had 33 days to do so, from the rejection letter date

if you have failed this deadline, then popla wont be interested

there is nothing that popla can actually do, unless an appeal has been made, all they do is adjudicate on appeals made before the deadline expires

ps:- they have not "put £40 on top"

that charge was always say £100 and was discounted for early payment by £40

I didn't read that part that I had 28 days to appeal to POPLA and have lost track of time with everything going on. I could kick myself

It was discounted to £60, then went up to £100 and now they've put £40 on top.. Best get it paid before it becomes even more ridiculous.

    Don't be ridiculous.

    STOP.

Absolute madness, have you not read anything on this forum?! You will pay NOTHING. Keep your money for the baby.

If you've had a new baby, ask POPLA to consider a late appeal, and if not, then ignore CP Plus.

Why are you in a rush to pay?

Have you seen the likelihood of court action?...

Nearly half a million tickets issued, but only seven court appearances in the last three years.

I'd take those odds any day. :D

POPLA will allow a late appeal due to really extenuating circumstances. If you have literally just had a baby, that's a situation worth asking POPLA for an extension.

    Try that on Monday.

    NO PAYING THIS SCAM PCN.
