Corsa- Ctdi Diesel Yellow Spanner Warning light Help

Yellow warning light!! Won’t go off after starting car. Not due a sevice.
Car is slightly slow to start , ie not always first click. Was a bit jittery on the running the day the light came on. I’ve always felt it’s idling high.?
Error codes obtained.
Engine control - 1C6 / Diesel EDC 17C18/19 Status :P0671 - Glow plug control Cylinder 1. Error Message : Malfunction. Error sporadic. Status :P0673 - Glow plug control Cylinder 3. Error Message : Malfunction. Error sporadic.possible injector issues.
Don’t want to drive it as manual said to contact garage. It’s my first car and the 60 day warranty expired 12 days ago .😞Not got much cash! Any idea what’s wrong please & Is this a major problem to fix? (2015 model)

Take it back to dealership for them to investigate you want them to sort the problem. So start reading up on your consumer rights especially on a 3 year old car.

Out of interest how did you get the codes?

could just be glow plugs or glow plug relay but take it back initially to where you bought it as advised above.
At over 3 yrs old, glow plugs unlikely to be covered under warranty - classed as a 'consumable' but let them look at it first. Should be ok to drive to a dealer if fairly local

I purchased it 2nd hand from
Arnold Clark, Unfortunately only a 2month warranty 😞 only had it just over that !
Called out the AA and they ran a live diagnostic check 👍 Thanks for your reply

Sounds like it needs a couple of glow plugs. Personally, i'd fit the full set of four. They should be easy to fit and are relatively cheap and your local preferred mechanic can do it.

Cant see Arnold Shark being interested as (a) it wasnt present at the time of sale and (b) they're wear and tear items

No such thing exists. You have statutory consumer rights that last a lot longer than 2 months.
