Storefirst

  • I am not aware of any groups/forums for investors in Storefirst but if anyone knows of anything I would be very grateful for information.
  • The GOV Insolvency service website says this set of crooks are likely to have the GOV petitions to close Storefirst down herd at Court before the end of 2018. I would pay NO ground rentals sent to me by this lot and just wait for them to be thankfully closed down soon.....

That right, the more people in the group the cheaper it is for us to attempt private prosecution.

The general advice is not to throw good money after bad. But if you can afford to spend a few hundred quid (or more) to make yourself feel better pursuing justice, it's your money. If you are paying for solicitors hoping you will recover any of your investment in return, think twice. The prospect of recovery is likely to be minimal, although I would be delighted to be proved wrong.

The chance of seeing anyone thrown in jail may also be minimal. Running a failed investment scheme is not illegal.
  • I received my letter yesterday from the GOV Valuations dept stating that good old Storefirst are attempting to now pass the ground rates onto me, I won't be paying it & will appeal/supply information as the letter says that I can so do......
I assume this Storefirst action is linked to their hoped for closure, that cannot come soon enough for me, despite the fact that I will no doubt loose my £97,500 SIPP investment......
My legal claim v the former Hetherington solicitors[Who drew up my joke of a contract], reaches the Courtroom on Friday 16th November 2018. This so called solicitors were struck off for ''Suspected dishonest practices'' of ALL things, by the SRA a year ago now.....

    Dear Sheffield
I used the same crooks, do let us know how you get on.
  • Hi
I stumbled on this forum by chance. At least some satisfaction, a group of people are talking about storefirst...unfortunately, im also one of the investors, just want to know 2 things: are you saying storefirst itself is asking for winding up too? or is it defending itself as their letter some months back said.
also what happens to our invested money if the company winds up?
by the way i also was promised guaranteed rental for 6 years(although the contract did mention 2 yr break away period). after that the rental income stopped for a good 2-3 yrs. i guess same story for all...
    thanks
