Well, what a change to see a largely ineffective regulator show some teeth.
As ever, of course, with Npower about to be combined with SSE, it is hard to see what effect this Ofgem gun held to their heads will have on the progress of the amalgamation into the combined group.
Perhaps it's Ofgem's intention to scupper the amalgamation over the heads of the CMA - another waste of taxpayers' money.Warning: In the kingdom of the blind, the one-eyed man is king.
