Comments and other Sunday morning suggestions?

The L&G International Index tracks the FTSE World (ex UK) Index so helps to address your UK issue. It gives you emerging markets and some mid cap coverage and the OCF is low. In common with other basic global trackers it's not much of an income payer

As mentioned above it's all about objectives, does it meet yours? With income portfolios it's easy to end up with a high UK weighting. This is not all bad, dividends are good and you're not aiming for growth or total return with a 40 year investment horizon

Diversification is key and a 100% equity portfolio is still fairly high octane. Rather than three similar UK equity income funds have you considered other asset classes? You say you don't want bonds but have a look at some strategic bond funds. How about property, even some infrastructure? You have time on your hands and look at this partially as a hobby, so some research for you perhaps?

“ FWIW I have 3 main investment portfolios. One passive, one active, and one income.

Over the last year (including dividends) they returned 28%, 14% and 2% respectively.

It surprised me - what passive portfolio delivered 28% in the past 12 months unless you are investing it all in tracking something very obscure and got lucky??
