New internal doors

Any thoughts on type of door to get? Not looking for anything fancy or pricey.
Wickes have 4 panel pine doors for £38 or B&Q have "4 Panel Primed Woodgrain Internal Standard Door" 2 for £40
I've never bought internal doors before, nor fitted them. I'd be getting someone (a chippie?) to fit them, so is it best to buy the doors and get them fitted or get a tradesperson to supply & fit?

I'd get a joiner to source and fit them. It may cost a little more (their time in getting them), but they'll know about different qualities etc. I got a job lot myself from a DIY shed which looked OK, but the joiner we chose to fit had no end of trouble hanging them as they were nearly all slightly bent and he said they were poor quality. He told us he could have got some quality ones for the same price from one of his trade suppliers. We've just used him again for another door (external this time), and he made the whole thing very simple - we showed him what we wanted from a DIY shed catalogue - he came along with something very similar, fitted it quickly and without problems, and it cost the same as the DIY shed. When dealing with sheds, you really need to know about quality yourself - plenty of what they sell is fine, but lots is also absolute garbage.0

Thanks Pennywise that's really useful and not something I'd have thought of.
Same for door furniture then I guess?0 -

Absolutely, exactly the same thing. The handles etc bought from a DIY shed were awful and barely lasted a year - the spring/mechanism simply fell apart and the handles tarnished very quickly. Again, got the joiner to source everything and you can really feel the quality, again for the same price.0 -
I would second this
We bought a house and all the doors were glossed to bits, drips and handles that didnt fit. After 3 years of trying to make them look better we hired a joiner to replace the lot with expensive and good quality handles. The doors were about £100 each and very solid. We gave him the key and we came home from holiday and our house looked amazing, 9 new matching doors.0
