Credit Card Claim

Hi!
First of all, apologies if this is the wrong sub-topic - I have looked through and couldn't see one I felt was relevant.
I filed a dispute for a transaction on my credit card, due to a flight being cancelled and the airline going into liquidation. My credit card company have written to me and asked for me to supply evidence, enclosing a prepaid envelope. The envelope is not nearly big enough for the documentation I need to send - what I would like to know is, if I tape the prepaid envelope to a larger one, will it still reach its destination?

Just a standard 2nd class envelope (has a big two on the right hand corner with two large black bars and what looks like barcoding underneath)
