Flexible paint

Hello All,
Are vinyl based based emulsions flexible? If not what types emulsion are?
I am looking for a flexible magnolia matt. I can get ceiling paint in white which is flexible, but I'd then need to over paint with inflexible magnolia and so it defeats the object.
