You are best off using your ACTUAL figures ;)
Your supplier should be able to assist you if you don't know what these are (or are expected to be)
That would only give pineapple a guide based on their existing usage patterns. Which as they explain leads to a level of stress (perhaps unjustified) over maximising their night usage and minimising day usage.

By trying some alternative estimated figures (e.g. a bit more day, a bit less night) the results of the comparison might show a cheaper tariff is available whilst also allowing pineapple to 'relax' on the night usage a bit. :)

I know exactly what my usage is, day and night, each month, for the past 12 months. Yes the ACTUAL figures! You seem to be missing the point but maybe I wasn't being clear.
Currently my night to day time ratio reflects me going all out to fit in as much as possible while on cheap rate. The quotes I get are based on that split. But as I want to be a little less 'nocturnal', it makes sense to seek quotes based on a rather more relaxed pattern - ie more day time usage (however I will use my total consumption of course :)).
