Currently my night to day time ratio reflects me going all out to fit in as much as possible while on cheap rate. The quotes I get are based on that split. But as I want to be a little less 'nocturnal', it makes sense to seek quotes based on a rather more relaxed pattern - ie more day time usage (however I will use my total consumption of course).

That would only give pineapple a guide based on their existing usage patterns. Which as they explain leads to a level of stress (perhaps unjustified) over maximising their night usage and minimising day usage.
