The Best Money saving Laptop, Tablet or Phone?

So who out there thinks they have the most Money saving Laptop, Tablet or Phone??
I'll start as I'm typing this on a Lenovo X60s laptop that was my work laptop in December 2007. End of warranty was Dec09, and I got it given as "scrap" when in Jan11 it had been written off.
Its been in the loft for a while but I resurrected it, installed Linux (Mint18.3) now, and popped in a cheap £20 SSD, and its still a fast, lightweight laptop.
Not bad for a 11 year old lappie ... what Money saving Tech. have you got??
