    Wait a minute...

A PoPLA decision is not binding on the motorist.

You are wrong to say you now have to pay £100.

If you have a letter saying that, then please show it to us.

    Do not pay anything.
  • Hello Keith P,

I don't have a letter from POPLA saying to pay but I do have one from Met Parking saying that my POPLA appeal was rejected and I had 28 days to pay £100 or they would take further action.

Should I really just sit tight? I'm worried the amount will just go up and up.

    Thank you,

    L

Only a Judge in the small claims court can tell you that you must pay. As I write, MET have never taken anyone to the small claims court.
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.
