ccnow/buying from abroad query

Hi

I am planning on buying some goods from Hong Kong, and the website uses CCNOW to collect payments.
The prices for products on the website are written in US dollers.
The shopping basket allows you to select "preferred currency" and also says
Pound Sterling will be charged for Visa and MasterCard only. All other transactions occur in US Dollar, regardless of displayed currency.
Has anyone ever ordered anything via CCNOW?
Does this mean they will charge my CC in sterling, or is the basket just showing sterling to make it easier , so they will actually charge in dollers, and mastercard will do the conversion and my bank (Natwest) will add 2.75% fee?

Thanks
