hi does anyone know how the making tax digital will effect sole traders earing very little will we all have to now go to an accountant to have submit tax returns

argh, MTD is a very hot topic and no one can say as yet because HMRC are in no way, shape, or form, competent enough to make anything digital, let alone tax by the date they say -

"The government will not widen the scope of Making Tax Digital beyond VAT before the system has been shown to work, and not before April 2020 at the earliest. "
as you "make very little" we'll assume you are not VAT registered, therefore ignore MTD for a few years more at least0 -
If your not VAT registered dont worry about it for now, if you are Xero or Freeagent will help you on this.0
