We used to have a Glo Worm boiler in our house (which was installed when the house was built), but replaced it because the parts were becoming harder to source.

This was told to me several times by the British Gas engineer doing the annual check, so I didn't believe it completely until our neighbours (who had the same model) had theirs fail and their son in law checked the internet, where he found that the parts were harder and more expensive to get.
