I live on a war pension and I can't afford my heating fuel , which is coal, I only require £200 to buy a tonne of cheap coal for the winter, are there any grants or charities that help with heating costs ?

£140 off the electric bill is a good thing to apply for so have a look into The Warm Home Discount (,WHD ) to see if you qualify. You need to have an income of less than £1600 a year and be on certain other benefits to qualify.
All the main big 6 suppliers will accept the WHD but not most of the small suppliers0
