Help - applied for wrong card!

I've just applied online and been accepted for a Halifax card but I really wanted to apply for an Amazon card which is provided by Halifax. Oops!

Do I need to wait until I've received and cancelled the Halifax card before applying for the Amazon one?

Thanks in advance.

Vicki

  • You may be too late for at least 6 months.
Most companies won't let you have more than one card from its 'stable' of cards.
So by applying for the Halifax one now may mean an automatic decline for the Amazon one.

Have you tried to cancel the application?
  • Not yet but think I'll phone for advice in the morning.

    Thanks.
