It's not clear to me at all.It seems clear to me what he means when he says 'one of the members of staff went into the back room to get the right size for me as they didn’t have the size I wanted on the shelves'.
I might wear a size 10 knickers from Primark but if I buy a size 10 pair from M&S I might...until/unless the OP clarifies whether he asked for the right size, was given the right size but they were too big or if he asked for the right size but was given a bigger size.
Same size, different brands.get home and find they’re two sizes too big!0 -
I would contact citizens advice who seem to deal with what was Consumer Direct.
They are totally amazing and have helped me multiple times with "problem" businesses who have strict rules.
As an aside though, can you not gift the item at Christmastime to someone who will be the size you were given?
