Knocking through for open plan kitchen

I’ve just bought a house which has a living room and kitchen on the upper floor. Both are quite small and I’ve seen other similar houses that have knocked through to have an open plan kitchen/living room.
I realise this is a bit of a “how long is a piece of string” question but does anyone have any idea of a rough price? I don’t think it’s a supporting wall but I’d have to get it checked. There would need to be a radiator moved and electrics. And I’d just be looking at a basic kitchen. I’m happy to do any basic diy myself if it helps
Any ideas would be useful.

Ours worked out at about £17K, including a painted solid wood kitchen, but excluding appliances. This was 3 years ago0
