Refused mortgage application due to failing credit score with equifax

I didn't solve it no, but I found out afterwards it wasn't just the credit score that caused me to fail (which is probably different to your circumstances) so didn't pursue it after that and also found a buyer around the same time that paid market value for the property so I sold it.
I went to a mortgage advisor before I found a buyer and the reason mine failed was mainly as I am a freelancer and haven't been paying myself enough in salary and dividends so I failed on affordability grounds... they refuse to take company accounts into account so it looks like I earn a lot less than I do.
Your best bet is probably to go to a mortgage broker to see what they can do if you haven't done so already I would think.0 -
