Suppose someone hooked up a DVD recorder to a Humax PVR via a Scart cable - does it work or is there some restriction on recording this way?

thats perfectly possible, the second scart is actually labelled as VCR much like any other cable/satellite box to allow exactly that to be done
• Well my Humax 9200 arrived this week.
I love it!!!! :T
Thank you to all who recommended it.
The picture is so much clearer through this than our old Freeview box.
I love it so much that as it was on offer at Comet this week at £149.99, I ordered another for our living room! :D Really wanted the black for in there but that was still £179.99 so went for the silver instead.

Haven't worked out how to get my DVD recorder to work with it yet though. Have connected the scart to it but for some reason I cannot view Freeview through the DVD recorder so cannot record?? Will ask hubby to take a look this weekend as no doubt I have just connected something incorrectly.

Highly recommend this bit of kit and because my initial budget was £300 for one recorder I am well chuffed that I have 2 for that price! :j

Thanks again.

• Hi Clutter Price on Comet.co.uk is still £179.99 with web offer(£199.99 is quoted as store price). Do you know if this price was just for the store you shopped in?
Thanks

No, I ordered online yesterday morning.
Also, went through Quidco and got £6 cashback. :T
Can't work that one out as I got £5.25 last time for the same item at the same price?
