It's in post #14 of beamerguy's Abuse of Process thread. Should take you about 20 seconds to locate by clicking on his username.
Or, read any defence/claim thread from the first dozen pages here except ParkingEye ones and you will find it. We want you to read other ones, not rely on links given on this little thread alone. That leaves you in splendid isolation, doing you no good.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Hi, the hearing is now looming and I just wanted to ask something. If asked by the judge why my son didn't appeal/send a copy of the ticket to show that he'd paid, what should he answer? Thanks in advance. Also will I be able to accompany him in the hearing?0

Just explain you thought the ticket was some sort of scam. Be honest.
You can accompany him. If you want to speak on his behalf you can act as a Lay Representative.0 -
Thanks for the advice. Does the court need notice if I want to speak as a Lay Representative or can my son just request that on the day?0

Re Lay Rep - just tell the Usher/Judge that you will act as LR for your son - who must also be there. Take a copy of the PD (para 3):-

When is the Court hearing date?
Just checking - you have already filed in time the WS, evidence and costs to the Court (taken personally in a binder etc.) and sent a copy to the claimant?0
