Hello
I’ve received a letter from my bank stating they are closing down my account.. due to fraudulent transaction.
I sold a camera on Facebook unfortunately there was a delay in myself posting this out due to being in a car accident I’ve resolved it with the buyer and he’s contacting his bank to confirm it’s not fraud
Where do I stand with my bank account?
I work in a regulated role and I’m worried this may have an effect .. I have proof from the buyer etc it’s all sorted any advice would be appreciated

I don’t believe that’s the reason it’s being closed down.
You can’t reverse their decision now.
Why would you pay for something on Facebook with a bank transfer?
Most things on the selling pages are done with cash on exchange0 -
As above, I cannot believe that this incident would lead to the closure of your bank account. There must be other factors at play.0

Have you checked your three credit files? There is something in the data held within your credit file(s) that has led to the bank account closure. As stated above, the Facebook incident is not likely to be the cause.I work within the voluntary sector, supporting vulnerable people to rebuild their lives.
I love my job0 -
Spoke to Lloyd’s and apparently that’s the exact reason as the other person reported it as a scam. Luckily the other person has now let the bank know it’s not and they will
Be contacting mine to confirm so hopefully it will all be sorted0
