Has my house foundation sank? Pics included

Options
Hello everyone,

Im currently in the process of purchasing my first home..
So i had the Homebuyers survey carried out today and it has picked up that the front right hand side corner of the attached extension/ veranda has maybe sank?

I have attached photos as they speak 1000 words... Is it bad? Should i pull out of the sale? Will it cause future problems? The house is 1930's if that helps.

The part effected is below the side veranda/extension which is only visible from next door (where the green wheely bin is)

Thank you in advance everyone!

Did the homebuyers survey give any suggestions? Would the vendor be willing to pay for any additional surveys and/or reductions in the house value?

    Thanks for the reply!
The homebuyers survey listed the defect as a 2, meaning it isnt urgent but could do with a specialist looking at it

I have currently contacted the estate agent and requested for an inspection to be carried out by a qualified person to the sellers expense.

I dont really want a reduction in price as of yet as ide prefer a survey to be carried out before hand to reveal what I could potentially be letting myself in for

Why should they pay? You're the one that wants the report.

What will you do if they refuse to pay?

They are under no obligation to do so.

That's an awfully skinny extension. I would not have built that. A lot of work for a tiny amount of space, and in doing so it has joined that house to next door making it a mid terrace not a semi, and closing off the side access passage, so imho it has devalued the property.

It has subsided half a brick,. I would be worried at that.

I would be more worried what they have done inside. I assume it's not just a 2ft wide long thin room, I guess they have knocked the old end wall out to make some rooms bigger so I would be worried how that is supported etc.

Too me it's a messed about with !!!!!!!ised house with issues. Go and find oen that has not been butchered and does not have the same problems.

Would not the Homebuyers report have picked up on that?

The house may have issues but surely it would depend on the price and cost to put anything needed right?

It may be a bargain for the right buyer.

I can't put the pictures together in my head.

Has the house wall dropped or is it just the garden wall where it butts up to the house?
