Virgin media charging for paperless bills

I've just phoned the retentions team to haggle for a better price on our broadband contract and the the woman we spoke to let slip we've been being charged for our paperless bills. Anybody else ever had this problem?

  • Yes, they will have, as admin errors are hardly ever confined to one person. But that's not important.

Are they refunding any incorrect charges?

We haven't done anything about it as yet, we're going to write to them. We are having a financial overhaul and it came to light.

I've never heard of anyone being charged for this, in fact customers are effectively charged for NOT having paperless bills.

Before you do that, be sure that you haven't misunderstood.

Do you actually still receive an itemised bill by post? If so, then Virgin are correct to state that they charge extra for this
