Everything you've been advised looks spot on to me, in my experience (others may feel differently) some of the best cards on the market for giving long 0% deals and decent credit limits to new customers are Virgin, MBNA, Halifax, Barclaycard and maybe Santander/Tesco.

I've had good experiences with all of them, hopefully you get a good one, stick to your payment plan and you've cracked it, good luck

Edit: in the time it took me to write this post you had about 6 new replies lol. I notice your not getting offered any decent mainstream cards, oh well that's how it goes you seem to have been given some great advice by others, just work out which is cheapest, fastest and most importantly affordable to you and your then on the right path
